I’ve got a lot done today. It is one of those days when I feel like my life is from Ferris Buhler’s Day Off.
I started breakfast cooking, and while it was cooking, I went and gather downed wood in the yard. I stacked it. I crawled through the bushes to get pieces that fell in the bushes.
Returning to the house, I fixed my breakfast – toast, sausage, marmalade, tomato juice and milk. Ate it while I read PDN (Photo District News – a photography news magazine).
It was then out to the office to work on doing my e-mail. (Some of you received it.) Cleaned up my e-mail list.
Back to the house, I got a stack of letters from Elizabethe. She wasn’t quite done getting them ready, so I returned to the kitchen where I started cooking lunch - a frozen burritos with some homemade salsa.
I bundled up and headed down the street to the post office. (The post office is about 1/2 mile from the house.) Noticing Bruce in the office, I stuck my head in the door to say, “Hi”, to Bruck Nickle. After dropping my letters off and purchasing more stamps, I started the return trip. This time, I dropped in to the Grandin Building. Elder and Sister Gardiner were there as well as Sister Crook and Sister Clark.
As I returned home, I realized I hadn’t taken many photos. So, here’s one I took at the Experience Press (a few doors down from the Grandin Press).
Well, I’m going to complete my blog entry for the day, and then head out on a date with my dear, sweet wife. She deserves it. She’s really helped me get a lot done in the business today.
